Google crawled my RSS feed, Im indexed!
I was never really sure but now I can say with confidence that i believe Google is tuned into the RSS feeds of the internet, and indexing pages syndicated throught the RSS. Nobody is linking to me on this site form what I know, yet 3 days after this blog was started I was indexed in Google an dranking for my blg title and my headlines. This means Google must have found me through my syndicated RSS feed. Another thing I noticed is that since Im hositng this blog on the subdomain of a major bloghost, I am instantly out off the sandbox in Google. I am already ranking for my name Dan Kavanaugh, as well as SEO Pulse. Im glad to know I dont need to have domains that are years old to initially start getting traffic for terms that drive traffic. Next I will test the effectiveness of a blog search engine submission service known as Pingomatic. This blog will serve many useful testing purposes it turns out :]

Hey great info. I bookmarked your site so I can start regularly reading it. Keep up the good work.

Hey Dan, what’s with the multiple comments on my blog - I let the first thru but the seven that followed that one have got to go.

Dan, I just deleted another set of comments from you on the blog on my site and now I’m growing tired of this. Since you never bothered to put an email in comments nor do I see any way of contacting you directly on this site, I will just continue to post here every time you try to enter a comment on my site, or at least until I just block your IP completely. For the record, dude, this sort of behavior make you look very unprofessional. If there is actually some point behind your continual commenting on my site, I storngly suggest you get in touch with me.

Hey man stop posting your fucken comments on my blog. I’ve received and deleted over 20 of them so far!

Lou, I suspect he’s running some sort of automated process to do his blog comments and is obviously not concerned about how annoying his behavior is to anyone else. I blocked his IP address at the server level about 15 mintuies ago, and he has tried to access my site 5 times since being blocked. At least now, I don’t have to waste my time deleting all the comments. In the long run, he’s only hurting his own credibility as it’s pretty pathetic that someone who has a blog talking about SEO techniques would actually resort to blog spamming.

Hey folks who got trackbacked. Sorry we are working on a new software and unfortunately the server sent out trackbacks to the wrong blog urls. Please excuse this technical mistake. - Dan
